We will be staying in the Langhe area - a UNESCO Heritage wine region known for bold reds like Barolo and Barbaresco, unique, crisp whites and the sparkling wines of Asti. It is also the birthplace of the Slow Food Movement and home to regional delicacies like the White Truffle of Alba, Robiola Cheese of Roccaverano, Fassona Beef and Piemontesi Hazelnuts.

October is the perfect time to visit - bringing the grape harvest and peak truffle hunting season. Fall weather will be setting in with temperatures in the mid 60s during the day and a slight chill at night, the perfect temperature for exploring wineries and wandering medieval hilltop villages.

Just an hour’s drive is the fabulously cosmopolitan city of Torino with its Art Deco coffee houses, fancy chocolate shops and the famous FIAT factory.

ITINERARY
Outings may include: Truffle Hunting, Winery Visits, Pastamaking Class, Vermouth Tasting and more.

LOGISTICS
The villa is located about an hour and half drive from MIlan’s two airports. Look to fly into either Malpensa or Linate. The nearby city of Torino also has a small airport. We will arrange transport to and from the villa from Milan Airports or local train stations. The cost of transfers is included.

COST
The cost for this 7-day/6-night trip is $4800 per person based on double occupancy and includes lodging at the villa, all meals, snacks and drinks (including wine, cocktails, tea, coffee, water, etc.), transportation to and from outings, admission fees for outings, applicable taxes. Check-in time is between 3:30 and 5:00pm on October 16, 2024. We will check out of the villa on October 22nd, 2024 at 12pm.

Airfare, trip insurance and personal incidentals are not included. 

A non-refundable $750 deposit is due at the time of booking. The balance will be due by August 15, 2026.  Please read our Policy regarding trip cancellation and refunds.
